The 3rd CONSASIA & 9th ACDI conference kicked off on August 28, 2025, at the Chennai Trade Centre. As part of the conference, a workshop titled “Indirect Anterior Bonded Restorations-Current Trends” was held at SRM Dental College by the department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, under the aegis of the Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics Association of Tamil Nadu (CEAT). The inaugural ceremony began at 10 am, with a warm welcome from Professor and Head Dr. K. Rajkumar. Dean Dr. K. Ravi and Professor Dr. Mahalaxmi. S shared insightful thoughts with the audience. Dr. Monisha Khatri introduced the esteemed resource person, Dr. Carlos de Carvalho from Brazil. Dr. Vidhya. S delivered the vote of thanks.

The workshop commenced at 10:30 am at FABLAB, MLCP Complex, SRMIST, Ramapuram. Dr. Saiesha Mistry, President of ACDI, provided an overview of the course. Twenty-five participants from across the country engaged in hands-on training, guided by Dr. Carvalho’s expert lecture. The event concluded at 6 pm on a high note, with participants receiving certificates and praising the workshop’s theme and meticulous organization.

A 7-member Korean delegation, led by Dr. Park Jeong Won, Professor of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics at Yonsei University, Seoul, visited the college campus during the conference. The delegates were warmly welcomed by the Dean, who highlighted the institution’s unique strengths and achievements.

During their visit to the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, the delegates were showcased the department’s academic activities and research facilities by Head of Department Dr. K. Rajkumar. Dr. Park and his team expressed high praise for the department’s workflow, infrastructure, and research initiatives, demonstrating a strong interest in potential collaborations.
