Children’s Day was celebrated in the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry at SRM Dental College, Ramapuram on 13/11/2025.
A total of 36 children of class 3,4 and 5 from

1. Sivanthi Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Ramapuram
2. Hussainy School, Ramapuram
3. Koilpillai Memorial Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Ramapuram
4. Rajalakshmi Vidhyashram Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Ramapuram.
5. Sabari Matriculation School, Ramapuram.
had actively participated in drawing competition on the theme ‘FUTUR EN VUE.’ Every child was given colouring materials and gift hampers. The Children were given 45 minutes to complete the drawing and the posters were judged based on three categories. First, Second and Third best posters were selected under each category and were awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals with five consolation prizes. Fun activities were conducted after the competition followed by personalized oral hygiene instructions by Post Graduate students and Faculty.
All the children responded with enthusiasm and curiosity. Their art work reflected thoughtful interpretations of the theme ranging from futuristic cities and ecofriendly innovations to smiling families and healthy lifestyle.
