The Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry organized a Rapid Review program, PEDO Quick Recap, on 23rd October, 2025, specifically designed for final-year BDS students preparing for their exams. The event featured six esteemed speakers from various colleges in Chennai, who delivered in-depth discussions on exam-oriented questions covering key topics including:
1. Child Psychology – Dr. Karthika Shankar, Senior Lecturer, Tagore Dental College & Hospital
2. Behaviour Management – Dr. Amilia Elizabeth J.A, Senior Lecturer, Meenakshi Ammal Dental College & Hospital
3. Pediatric Endodontics – Dr. Janani Vinodhini. N.C, Reader, Sree Balaji Dental College & Hospital
4. Oral Habits – Dr. Santham Krishnamoorthy – Reader, Sathyabama Dental College & Hospital
5. Space Maintenance – Dr. Arjun Thomas – Reader, Thai Moogambigai Dental College & Hospital
6. Dental Trauma – Dr. K.C. Vignesh – Senior Lecturer, Sri Ramachandra Dental College & Hospital
A total of 60 students attended the program, benefiting from the expert insights and comprehensive review. The event concluded with a quiz competition, where the winners were:
