The Department of Prosthodontics, SRM Dental College, Ramapuram, made waves on November 1st, 2025, by organizing the highly anticipated PUBG 5.0 (Prosthodontic Undergraduate Battle Ground)—an electrifying academic and cultural event. This year’s program witnessed outstanding energy, bringing together 303 passionate participants—a perfect blend of 150 Cadets (Preclinical students) and 153 Commandos (Clinical students)—from 9 prestigious dental colleges across the state.

From scientific paper and poster sessions showcasing original research, to creative artistry in “Art from Dental Materials,” and the adrenaline rush of quiz competitions and escape rooms, PUBG 5.0 was designed to hone skills, celebrate talent, and inspire growth among future dental professionals.

Every challenge, contest, and collaboration was a testament to the students’ drive and team spirit. A total of 11 events in 12 vibrant sessions packed the day with knowledge, innovation, and friendly competition. The event reached its grand finale with a high-energy prize distribution, where cash prizes totaling ₹53,000 were awarded to the best and brightest, with each winner recognized for their commitment and creativity.

PUBG 5.0 proved that when passion meets precision, learning becomes celebration. A huge thanks to the organizing faculty, dedicated coordinators, and every participant for making this event a benchmark in academic excellence and camaraderie.
