CBCS Course – “Management of Nonvital Immature Teeth”

The Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry conducted a CBCS course on 7^th and 9^th of May 2022. The topic of the course was ‘Management of Nonvital Immature Teeth”. A total of 54 Interns from our Institution attended the course. The lectures were delivered by all the faculty of the Department. Dr. R. Hemalatha delivered the lecture on materials used in apexification procedure. Dr. P. Shankar & Dr. S. Nancy delivered the lecture on Apexification in young permanent teeth. Dr. J. Trophimus delivered the lecture on Pulp revascularization. This was followed by a Demo on MTA apexification on a mounted natural tooth by Dr. P. Shankar and Dr. J. Trophimus. An assessment was conducted at the end of the course and the students were graded accordingly. All the participants were actively engaged and enthusiastic throughout the course, and the course was largely appreciated by all the participants.
