Prosthesis refers to any artificial substitute used for replacement of missing teeth or oro-facial structures. This branch of dentistry is a unique blend of science, art and creativity and aims at restoring the patient’s oral health to as normal and natural as possible.

Department of prosthodontics is a centre of excellence with highly qualified and trained faculty members. The department educates undergraduates (all five years of their course), postgraduates in fixed prosthodontics, removable prosthodontics, Implantology and maxillofacial prosthodontics. It also offers part time and full time doctorate program. A well equipped dental lab is attached to the department which enables the students to provide quality dental care to patients at affordable prices.
