Research Grants:

• Professor Dr. Gopi Chander N is the Principal-investigator in the Council for Prosthodontic Research funded project entitled “Evaluation of pathophysiological changes of human dental pulp derived mesenchymal stem cells administered by intramucosal, intramuscular and intrabony routes on rabbits”. The amount of funding received for the project is Rs. 3.0 Lakhs.
• Dr. Shilpi Gupta, III yr MDS student, has received a grant for Rs. 1,80,000/- for her research entitled “Evaluation of osseointegration of titanium dental implants coated with starch nanofibers loaded with curcumin” from Dec 2020 to June 2022. The co-investigators are Dr. N. Gopi Chander, Professor, Dr. K. Aravind, Lecturer, and Dr. K.V. Anitha, Reader.
• Dr. K. Aravind, Lecturer, is a co-investigator in the TNSCST sponsored project entitled “Formability study of Titanium Alloy Ti-6A1-7Nb at elevated temperature for biomedical application”. The amount of funding received is Rs. 3.40 Lakhs, for a period of 24 months from April 2021 to March 2023.
