SRM’s   THIRTEENTH   INTER   DENTAL COLLEGIATE PRIZE   EXAMINATION IN PHARMACOLOGY 9^th   June 2018

Thirteenth Inter Dental Collegiate Prize exam has been successfully conducted by the Department of   Pharmacology – Ramapuram, on 9^th   June 2018. 99 students participated from 16 colleges of Tamilnadu and Puducherry.

SRM Dental College, Ramapuram, has been excluded from awarding Prizes. Still in the overall ranking,   SRM Dental College, Ramapuram stands FIRST for the past twelve years, from 2006 – 2017. This year, in the overall ranking SRM Dental College, Ramapuram student have secured the THIRD rank.

The answer papers were evaluated and prizes were awarded on the same day. Consolation Prizes were awarded to the Toppers of the Non – Prize winning colleges.

Participation certificate was issued to all the candidates.

Director – Dr. Sridhar, IAS, inaugurated the function, Vice Principal and Clinical Society Chairman, Dr. Rajkumar and Dean – Academics, Dr. Saravanan graced the occasion.

The examination   of 3 hours duration consisted of 100 Objective type questions.

All the prize winners, teaching staff of other dental colleges who accompanied their students, came on stage and expressed their opinion.

• Appreciation for concentrating on academic competition, since most of the colleges conduct cultural competition only.
• An innovative examination in Pharmacology with various objective type questions which were EXCELLENT, IN DEPTH and CHALLENGING.
• Gained experience, exposure and confidence to face the University Examinations and is a STEPPING STONE for National and International Competitive examinations.
• Realised the importance of Pharmacology and inspired us to study extensively.
• Prize exam was very well organised and conducted in a systematic manner.
