World Diabetes day camp was conducted by Department of Public Health Dentistry, SRM Dental College, Ramapuram along with Mr. Raju, Head of Sai Sakthi Homes, New Lakshmipuram, Kolathur on 14/11/2022, Monday. A health talk about impact of diabetes on oral health was given to the 31 old age people residing in the home. The participants blood glucose levels were monitored using glucometer. Awareness about intake of nutritious food was given. We also  distributed millets to those underprivileged people as a part of this health awareness program. Oral screening was done for all the participants in the home. Brushing technique was explained to the patients and the participants also did the brushing technique on the tooth model. Oral hygiene instructions were given to all the participants. Participants raised questions about their oral cavity problems and answers were given for each participant.
