A CDE program was conducted in the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics pertaining to the topic “INTELLECTUAL SERIES ON MATERIALS USED IN CONS & ENDO” on 18th November 2022. This course was tailored for interns to know the different materials available in the market in the field of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. The idea behind the program was introduction of various materials, its use and manipulation from different companies. In this series Dr. Anand, professional product specialist-Dentsply, India was invited as the speaker. The technical aspects were covered by hands-on and live demonstrations. The overall aim of the course was to assess the participant to understand about incorporation of the materials into clinical practice to overcome the shortcomings of past conventional techniques in order to evolve as the discipline evolves.

Total number of 71 participants undertook the course.

Bachelors in dental science (2008) from Bapuji dental college and hospital affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi university of health science.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

• Worked as a Technical Product specialist (TPS) in DENTSPLY since June 2012 till June 2015 for South India.
• Training the Sales team on Dentsply range of products technically for effective sales calls.
• Addressing Dentist’s specific product queries.
• Organize, Coordinate and Conduct CDE programs in Dental Institutions and in Clinics.
• Worked in Dental Clinic between 2015 to 2019.
• Working as a Professional Product Specialist (PPS) since 2019 onwards for South India.
