I am happy to share that SRM Dental college, Ramapuram has won the prestigious Promoting Academic Research Conversion to Enterprise (PACE) Scheme funding  under the auspices of Biotechnological Research and Development in India ( BIRAC), New Delhi  for the project titled ‘DEVELOPMENT OF SOCKET-FIT FLEXIBLE HEMOSTAT CUM GRAFT FOR DENTAL APPLICATIONS’.

Project will be executed in  collaboration with  University of Madras. Dr.S.Balakumar, Director, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology is the Principal Investigator , Dr. P. Rajashree , Assistant Professor , CAS Biophysics & crystallography is the co -Principal Investigator. Dr. R. Ramya , Reader, Department of Oral Pathology is the Collaborator for the project.

Total approved amount is 48.36 Lakhs  University of Madras share Rs.30.04 lakh
SRM Dental College share Rs. 18.32 lakh.

I thank our Chairman sir and Co-Chairman sir for their encouragement and guidance. I thank our Director, Dean & Vice  principal Dental College, DG, DD, AD and Dean academic for their support.
